The Important Role of Government and Private Partnerships in Tackling Cyber Threats

The evolving cybersecurity landscape demands a unified effort across numerous government agencies to address emerging threats, enhance resilience, and safeguard critical infrastructure. This panel brings together representatives from several of the government agencies attending ESET World to discuss their collaborative roles in protecting both national and commercial digital and physical assets. The discussion will highlight the importance of building national cyber resilience through partnerships and proactive threat management, the development of globally recognized cybersecurity frameworks and standards, and the role law enforcement plays to combat cybercrime and dismantle cybercrime networks. Panelists will explore joint initiatives, such as public-private partnerships, incident response strategies, and threat intelligence sharing, emphasizing how these efforts align with federal policies and address challenges posed by ransomware and advanced persistent threats.
