Jean-Ian Boutin

   Jean-Ian Boutin is the director of Threat Research at ESET, where he has been a pivotal part of the team since 2011. With a robust background as a malware researcher, Boutin has transitioned into a leadership role, overseeing the investigation and analysis of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) groups and crimeware organizations. His expertise in cybersecurity has been showcased at prestigious conferences, such as RSA and Black Hat, where he has presented his findings and insights to the global security community.

Today, he is a security monitoring analyst, focusing on endpoint detection and response R&D where he analyzes and researches modern threats to business and enterprise customers.

Juraj Knapec Bio

   Juraj Knapec spent eight years in the chemical industry, honing his skills in financial analytics and product management, backed by a foundation in applied mathematics. His experience led him to join ESET in 2022, where he took on the role of product manager for ESET Threat Intelligence. During his tenure, Juraj has overseen the launch of the second generation of the product, new partnerships, and the introduction of the ESET AI Advisor. Outside of work, Juraj pursues his interests in astronomy and history.
